Les Dames d’Escoffier British Columbia Chapter (LDBC) is delighted to introduce its new board president, Cassandra Anderton, and the slate of directors for 2022/2023, which were installed during the organization’s annual general meeting at The Vancouver Club in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The board, led by President Cassandra Anderton, will guide LDBC during its 30th anniversary year in fulfilling its mission to inspire, advance, and support all women in food, beverage, and hospitality to achieve excellence in leadership and philanthropy.

Les Dames d’Escoffier BC Scholarship Applications Are Now Closed for 2023

Eligibility

Scholarships are open to women* of any age and at any stage of their career who are looking to either refine or expand their expertise at a credible educational institution of their choice anywhere in the world.

Scholarships are awarded on merit, ability, commitment, and passion.

Applicants can be awarded a scholarship more than once, depending on the circumstance, and if a woman’s previous application was unsuccessful, she is encouraged to apply again between now and February 13, 2023.

Les Dames D’Escoffier International Names New Board

Les Dames d’Escoffier International is honoured to introduce its new board president, Jennifer Goldman, and board leadership, which were installed on October 22, 2022, at the organization’s annual conference in New York City. At the same conference, the organization voted to add a chapter in Tuscany, Italy, its 44th chapter and third on the European continent.

Carol Brock, Food Journalist, Philanthropist, and Trailblazing Founder of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), Dies

LOUISVILLE, KY (July 27, 2020) – Carol Brock, Food Journalist, Philanthropist, and trailblazing Founder of Les Dames d’ Escoffier International (LDEI) has died. Brock passed peacefully, surrounded by family on July 27, 2020, of natural causes. She was 96. In her illustrious seven-decade culinary career, Brock championed women in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. She founded LDEI’s inaugural chapter in New York City, NY in 1976. Under her leadership LDEI has formed 45 chapters with over 2400 members worldwide.
