LDBC annual celebration of members and membership! Don your jeans and flats for this casual affair, with lots of time to get to know other members. Vera’s Burger Shack in Vancouver’s Kitsilano is open for our exclusive use. (Thank you Dame Shannon) They’re setting us up with wings, tacos, burgers, fries/onion rings, and a sundae bar!

- Canuck Burger: Classic bacon cheeseburger made with Vera’s beef. Step up to the condiment bar to dress it up as you like.
- Lamb Burger: Lamb burger with the Preservatory’s Carmelized Onion and Black Cherry jam, feta cheese, Vera’s sauce, lettuce and tomato.
- Veggie Burger: Veggie Burger with the Preservatory’s Carmelized Onion and Black Cherry jam, feta cheese, Vera’s sauce, lettuce and tomato. Veggie burgers are plant-based, vegan, Canadian & gluten-free.

Each year, LDBC awards stipends for members to attend the annual LDEI Conference. This year’s Conference will be Oct 24-27 in Nashville, TN.
Directions
Vera’s is accessible via public transit. Bus 02 stops practically out front; check maps.google.com for options from your location. Street parking (mostly meters) and EasyPark parking (Kits Beach and Vanier Park lots) are just a short walk away. Please arrange for a safe ride home.
