Les Dames d’Escoffier British Columbia Scholarships

Les Dames d’Escoffier BC Chapter is accepting applications for our Scholarship Awards, supporting the advancement of women in hospitality and culinary fields. Awards are based on merit and ability, and vary in amount according to the program they support.

We offer these scholarships to women of all ages who are keen to begin basic training in these areas and to women already skilled in these fields, who seek to refine their expertise.

Dames Dine Around – Oh What a Night!

It’s one of the most fun and best value culinary fundraisers of the year: The Les Dames d’Escoffier Dine Around. Over twenty restaurants, vineyards, gardens and cooking schools from Vancouver to Whistler, Victoria to Kelowna, North Vancouver to White Rock donated one “table” for a concurrent dinner party.

Each restaurant was priced exactly the same, with each restaurant donating the food menu and table and a winery donating the wine. Restaurants designed their menu to highlight their own cuisine.

Following the single long table format, a beautifully decorated formal Italian table for 100 guests was set inside Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver.
